Hi. So if it … Hi. So if it doesn’t work the first time, how long do you wait to try it again? I’m asking because I’m aware that you shouldn’t use the nasal spray to often. Thanks.
i was going to try … i was going to try this, i was wathcin git i dont a nettie but iwanteed to try the excersies, i can put my toungue so it closes the thorat?
sory for many typos ive been up all night with a runny nose and a cough
thanks:D
I have everything … I have everything except a neti pot I used a turkey baster, it worked exactly the same I did everything you said and no results, help my ear hurts!!! left ear BTW
@MrJasonSmarts try … @MrJasonSmarts try leaning forward over the sink at the same time as you tilt your head to let fluid in the nose. When it begins to flow out the other side, tilt head up just a little, when you feel it in throat quickly set down the pot, pinch your nose closed and lean forward over sink again. This will hold the fluids in your nasal cavities, then tilt side to side from there, instead of up and back so much. Do the up and back exercises at the very end.
PS – my Dr has told … PS – my Dr has told me it is safe, and a Dr emailed me who tried it and told me it worked for her, and she said all her and her Dr friends could not come up with a solution for her clogged ears. She said she will be recommending it to her patients now!
true dat. Ear drops … true dat. Ear drops put in the OUTTER ear will in fact drain back out when you tilt your head the other way. A small amount does cling to the eardrum though, just like dishes in a dish washer have water stuck on them for some time. That will be enough to do the job and that small amount does in fact get absorbed. But it is ok if some drains out.

I feel my … I feel my earadicator solution would work for use, most def. You DO have pus stuck in your middle ear, behind the eardrum, and the Etube gets stuck shut, like a vaccum/suction cup type effect. My remedy for fluid in the ear will release the vaccum and let the fluid in the ear drain out, thereby clearing the hearing problem.
@8MCDonalds8 You … @8MCDonalds8 You are correct – the Eustachian tube is medically termed the middle ear. I call it the inner ear as a general reference (accessible from inside) – as opposed to the outter ear (accessible from the outside)
@MajorrBison no … @MajorrBison no this is not related to flying in my experience or in many others who report to me about their problem ears. Pressure change in the ear is related to flying but a *clogged* Etube is not. After flying ears should normalize on their own unless there are other things going on.
is all these before … is all these before or after a flight, cos i get clogged ears during and after a flight, and i heard earplanes can balance the pressure in the ear thereby preventing clogged ears, earplanes are earplugs that are designed to do this, i was told i can get them at walmart and i hope it works, i’m about to fly 12hrs to west africa in 2 weeks.
I had an ear … I had an ear infection a while back myself. The fluid had built up in my middle ear and perforated my eardrum. After this I got given antibiotics which cleared the infection……i think!! But I am now left with a ringing sensation in my middle ear and i have my hearing cut by 50%! I also have popping sounds?? I think I have pus or dirt of some sort which is in my middle ear, blocking my ear tunnel…due to the previous infection! What could I do?? Would this help???
tiffcady, I made an … tiffcady, I made an attempt with the neti pot and 4 way but I think i’m having some trouble with the exercises. I don’t quite understand how to keep myself from immediately swallowing the solution. Could you shed some light on your technique? thanks!
you should not … you should not force any foreign mass into your inner ear. nor should a person use the pressure method at all. so i’ve been told by doctors it reverses the action of the eustachianal tubes. therefor flooding the inner ear canal with potentially infectious fluids.
My doctors must be … My doctors must be baffled at my situation but you will never hear most doctors admit to not knowing anything about the body. This one idiot Dr. told me that, when you put drops prescribed for the ear into your ear, they don’t come out after you tilt your head back to normal. They just get “absorbed by the body”. LOL In your ear?
Wonder if it will … Wonder if it will work for me…major issues and infection. I believe it’s not external as the Dr. WAS able to see the ear drum at 1 point. Now if I can only find my dam Neilmed!!! Also, this is actually for the “middle” ear. The “inner” ear is actually past the bones and tube.
Thanks for this … Thanks for this great tip Chiayala, it slipped past me. I am glad your ENT approves of my solution. Do you use 4 way in it or not? Does the syringe squirt the flui\d into your etubes? Curious!
I really hope this …
I really hope this works. I have a musical next week and I CANNOT sing with my ear like this. This is my last hope!

If you have an existing sinus infection it can def make things worse. Other than that, using a neti pot in itself is very safe.
